Meli Micah Design Studio was created to give young people—especially from disadvantaged communities—a place to grow their creativity and build real-life skills in fashion and design. Our mission is to teach students, ages 15 to 25+, how to design from head to toe—clothing, accessories, home décor, and more—while also learning how the fashion business really works.

We don’t just sketch and sew—we teach the entire process: working with factories and mills, understanding sales and buyers, building relationships with retailers and vendors, and learning about production, marketing, and branding. Our goal is to prepare the next generation of designers to succeed creatively and professionally in the design industry.
